Indie Coffeshop Opens!

This is great news for the Bloomingdale neighborhood and for DC. The Big Bear Cafe is open. Here is the introduction from the owner’s website:

First of all, we, Stuart and Lana, are residents of Bloomingdale. We like good coffee and local coffeeshops, and had trouble finding either in DC, so we decided to open our own, in our neighborhood. It’s been a little longer in the making than we had initially anticipated, but things are moving along, and we hope to be open in the spring. Please see this post for more info.
